| OK - better late than never. So sorry to be late, but I was caught up in the Tuesday Morning frenzy where I had to hunt down numerous Silkstones and collector dolls I didn't buy last year. Many VISA dollars later, I'm back at the computer and posting this.
Since we're late with today's Diorama Discussion, feel free to continue posting your Diorama related stuff all-day tomorrow, as well. Show us what you've made, what you've sewn, what you've picked up at the dollar store, what your displays look like, how you use playline, how you customize or just how you arrange gorgeous stuff to make a great scene. Ask any questions of the Diorama experts. Inquire where you find just the right stuff. Post new pics, old pics or ideas. We'd love to see them. In two weeks, I'll host another Theme Room based discussion... stay tuned. Hugs, Now, to go unpack my shopping bags! |

| I called this set Oxblood Exclusive. The white walls are FR boxes. The black wall is also an FR box from the Power Couple set. The poster on the wall is from a gift card someone sent me and I use rolled masking tape to keep it in place along with an FR story card to fill the open white wall. Table base was a silver candle holder that I painted black with a glass top from a cheap picture frame. The chair was a picture frame I bought used from a friend along with the 2 night tables that were already stained in black (I love these 2 tables as the drawers really open). The linens made by me. I like to layer things and make the bed look like a magazine ad with lots of pillows. Then I add little items such as purses or hats that go with the colours of the room.
Here's a close up of the table setting: I called this one Star Struck. I am really happy with how this room turned out. Everything must be temporary so things keep falling over on me (especially the dolls as I don't use stands).

Below - if you look to Vanessa's left you'll see her reflextion in the FR mirror. I inserted an asian umbrella on top as the mirror was bit short looking, them make sure I angeled it right so I don't get my reflection. |
This set is called Perriwinkle Chic. I love how simple this room was. I just used the light coming into the room from my window with FR boxes on either side and some tapes together black thingy's I purchased at an Asian store. Placing the chaise lounge at the end of the bed creates a different look.
Another example of using the chaise lounge at the end of the bed in "Aubergine Dream: Just thought I'd share few of my many rooms. Of course you can check out my many bedrooms under the Lavish Linens section of my website below.
