| Hi, Guys,
Yes, I was still recovering from the contest so I spaced out on Tuesday about the Diorama Discussion. Maybe the holiday last week had me jumbling up my days of the week! In any case, today is another Open Forum, so post any pics, finds, ebay creations, stuff from the archives or whatever you will that relates to all the little stuff we love. Here's my pic for today. Haven't seen this hot gal in a while. She's so beautiful... Red Blooded Woman Kyori. I have her set in my Room with a View and I accessorized an Oriental rack I bought at a Chinese Gift shop. The bench is a holder for coasters and I cut out some prints from a museum catalog and added magnets to the back. The pillows are by Bashette from some bedding. OK - no great shakes, but it's a start. Let's see your pics or hear from you! In two weeks, we'll have another formal Diorama Discussion for you! Til then,

From Sushipurple: Lovely set up! Ok, here are some goodies I found here and there (ok, ebay) ... The screen is from ebay-- I just loved it for the art, but yes, it is a bit too small for my dolls. The little buddha came in a pack of incense sold at Target. It's heavy- made of brass. No, I don't use incense but love the items that sometimes come with it.
The coffee table I found in an Asian furniture store in a strip mall. It's really lovely and well-made. I bought a few in diff. sizes and the nice salesman thought I was nuts going ga-ga over these teeny props. I'm sure they're supposed to be used with candles and such, not dolls. Oh well, silly me!
The golden table is from Tiny Kitty's fashion shop (which I admit I bought just to get the furniture). It's made of wood and really sturdy. There's a chair, too, but not in the picture. I love these mini asian cork scenes and wish I could find more of them in the correct scale/ size I like.

From Aysun: My bench made of a vinegar-oil-thingie (with tutorial). This is the thingie, I found a while ago. with glasbottles for oil and vinegar:
without glasbottles:
I coat the foam with white velvet and made a cushion in green and pinned it on the foam:
As you can see, it´s the right size.

| From Kelsie - MutantGoldfishDesigns: Making quick and easy walls. I know you have seen these walls before and most may even know how to make them. But I thought I would share anyway...Sometimes I will see something I "know" and be inspired by it all over again, so here goes.
I actually created these walls so they will fit inside one of my display shelves, but here they are on my dining room table creating the wood floor.
I use foam-core to create the walls, simply cut them to desired size and use masking tape to join them in back at the corners. The wallpaper is made from sheets of scrapbooking paper (took me weeks to find just want I wanted but it was worth it) The "chair rail" is a piece of matching ribbon simply glued over the join of the two patterns. The window is a picture cut from a plant catalog and used scrapbooking stickers to hold it up, that way I can change it out if I want to have a different view for the room. Another piece of ribbon along the bottom of the "window" and then curtains are hung, the top of the curtins is held in place by pins pushed into the foam-core in the top edge of the wall.
Now here is the same display cropped, you would not know this dining room is actually on a bookshelf!
