The girls spent the next few days getting the dollhouse ready for company when one day, the doorbell rings...
*Bing-Bong!*
"She's HERE!"

"Welcome to Florida, DeeDee! It's so nice to meet you!"

The girls chat for a few minutes and then Nolee & Madison give her a tour of the dollhouse...
"...and here on the second floor is the game room..."
DeeDee couldn't resist trying the egg chair!

Someone looks comfy!

"Next is the boudoir..."

"And on the third floor is the sleeping loft..."
DeeDee climbs up the ladder to take a peek upstairs...

Then they all go back downstairs to the kitchen for a cup of tea...

The girls talk for a while, but Nolee & Madison realize that their guest must be tired from her long journey & offer to show her the guest room so she can unpack & rest a while... the guest room is out back, and DeeDee wonders what it will look like... TO BE CONTINUED...

When we last left, Nolee was getting ready to show DeeDee to the guest room in the back...
Nolee: "Here we go, this is it: the third bedroom!"

DeeDee peeks in...

Wow! It's not just a bedroom--it's a full suite!
Looking closer...

Nolee tells DeeDee where everything is:
"...and the TV is up there, and the mini-fridge is behind you...just let us know if you need anything!"

Nolee leaves DeeDee to unpack & rest...
DeeDee sets down her luggage, kicks off her shoes, and crashes on the comfy bed...

"This is great!" DeeDee thinks to herself, and she wonders what other surprises are in store for her....

Dear Diary...
The past two weeks here in Florida have been a whirlwind of activities!
I went shopping with the Silkstones...

Ooo I like this one!

How do I look?

I hung out with the My Scenes at the Donut Hut...

...and I met the FRs at the local Coffee Shoppe.
I'll be honest, I was kinda intimidated by them at first--they're all so beautiful and famous!
But when you talk to them, they really are very nice and down to earth--
not at all like how they are portrayed in the celebrity magazines!

Susie & Momoko took me to a GREAT sushi place...

and speaking of food...Barbie gave me some cooking lessons--
she taught me how to make spaghetti!

Here I am, checking the sauce--almost done!

Very yummy!

I also had some time to work on my tan--sooo relaxing!

But my visit to Florida is almost over...wonder where I'll be going next??

DeeDee has received an invitation to attend the Barbie Convention--WOO HOO!!
But that means she must say good-bye to her new friends, Nolee & Madison...
she tells them about her plans and packs her things.

DeeDee: "Well girls, I'm all packed and ready to go..."

Nolee: "Goodbye DeeDee! We'll miss you!" *hug*

Madison: "Have a safe trip & enjoy the convention,
we'll be following your adventures on Doll Divas!" *hug*

DeeDee: "Goodbye Nolee & Mads, thanks so much for showing me such a wonderful time!
I'll miss you too!"

DeeDee's a little sad to be leaving, but she can't wait to start her next adventure,
and she thinks to herself: "Nancy in Nevada, here I come!"
