DeeDee's Convention Pics!
|

|
When we got to convention we had a very nice room. We went room shopping and found a very nice couch we could relax on.
Dee Dee shared the couch with one my table gift dolls that I made for all my tablemates. There were eight other girls just like her.
From left to right the girls standing behind the couch are my personal travel doll Ginny (named after Gin-O), my roommate Kathy's travel doll & my awesome OOAK Veronique I just bought from Jeff.
We went to the Travel Doll Soiree and even decided to take the couch with us because it was so comfortable. I made Dee Dee a new hat there that she will add to her traveling wardrobe.
There were quite a few travel dolls in attendance at the Travel Doll Soiree. Everybody had a great time. I'll post more photos tomorrow.
Here we are at the Fiesta brunch. Nancy Kelley the Table Hostess for Table 58 made cute little Kelly dolls for her tablemates.
Dee Dee made friends with the centerpiece doll. She let her take a swing at the little pinata.
Dee Dee decided to sit on the carpet that looked like a railroad track. She was hoping someone would come by and rescue her before the train came. No train and no rescue, so she went back to the room to hang out. More adventures tomorrow.
Here we are at the last night's banquet. The beautiful table centerpiece doll Dee Dee is sitting in front of was won by MAD of MAD doll stands.
Karen Scribano our own Doll Divas T Shirt maker posed with Dee Dee and the live auction dolls. The Artist Creations doll made by the Italian designers is on the left and the Bill Greening Mattel dolls that were won by Lisa (the big bidder of the evening) are on the right.
Here I am with Dee Dee and two more of the live auction dolls. Our table hostess Nancy Kelley gave all of her tablemates tiaras like the one I am wearing. My star necklace was a gift from my tablemate Priscilla Wardlow.
Dee Dee was tired after all of the partying so she took a little rest on the couch in our room. I got a deboxed Mint Memories for $20 in the drawing at the Mattel Toy Club. The silkstone in the pink is wearing a fashion made by Avis Jones. The doll in the blue is a OOAK I found room shopping. The doll in the center is a beautiful OOAK I bought from Durelle Brown. The Veronique is one I purchased from Jeff and the doll on the right is my roomate Kathy's travel doll. I think she looks alot like the convention doll in the next picture. What do you think?
The convention is over and it's time to go home. My travel dolls Dee Dee and Ginny decided to make friends with the new convention doll. I really like her. We had so much fun in Dallas. I think Dee Dee had a good time and made lots of friends.
