I arrived a little bit early, but it was okay Paulette let me have her room. She was so excited that I finally arrived.

After hours of talking I decided I need my beauty sleep; I found out that I was going to meet the Monsieur Z Girls tomorrow:

Part II of My New Adventure in CA

Hello! After a restful night, I was told to spend my first morning relaxing... And oh what a better place than the beach.....

I have met some new friends naturally..........
I feel so welcomed........

It's so peaceful here.....
But, I have to go meet up with the Monsieur Z girls, this afternoon.
They are having a party in my honor welcoming me to CA, Oh, I can't wait.

I had such a grand reception.... They all were happy to see me.

Splash and Playa are trying not to get wet. Playa is very worried about her hair, but she is okay with a little water on her legs.

I am just enjoying myself in this beautiful weather, just basking in the CA sun........

It looks like I am getting wet, but I am not... that would create such a hair day for me, that I don't even dare.
I like my new hairdo, I don't have to do a thing to it..... Thank you, Karen (Scribs). :-) And you thought I forgot about that boil perm..... :-)

I am working on my tan, but I know that I have to get back to my CA hostess, Cecilia. She told me that tomorrow I meet the Misaki girls. Oh, I hope that they speak English? Or maybe I should brush up on my Japanese ? Is it to late to order Rosetta Stone tapes? You think that with all my traveling, I would be fluent in Japanese....

Part III of My New Adventure in CA

Hello! This morning I started off going to see where I was told that I was born. I went to El Segundo, CA. I always wondered what it looked like. I knew that I was adopted and well loved by Laure. But, I was always told that my birth parents were Mattel. After going thru files while visiting Mattel, I was told that I came from Taiwan, way before the recall that I heard about. I guess that explains that stamped birthmark on my behind......

It is now evening and I am at the Misaki's Condo. I am so glad that I was able to shop at Mattel this morning and they even let me change there. Do you like my new outfit? It's a little bit snug but, I promise my fellow Doll Divas that I am not going to have any more midnight snacks with Paulette during the remainder of my stay............ I don't know how she does it, she is so slender....

After meeting the whole clan of Misaki Girls, I realized that I liked the girls very much, but there were a few that could not come out and play. I always thought all dolls were set free? The more I travel, the more I learn about dolly life.....

We managed to take a group shot, I have alot of new friends. But these girls need to learn to smile. I think that I am the only one smiling....

Total success, I have become very well excepted by all the Misaki girls. Before the night is over my plan is to tickle one of them and run.... Then, I think that they will all start to smile more.... Japanese girls are so serious.... But, they sure have the cutest Hello Kitty's around..... Which reminds me to call my cousin Barbie, I heard she has a new Hello Kitty outfit, I can't wait to see it....

Part IV of My New Adventure in CA

Hello! Today we started off our day driving to Los Angeles. Look at the traffic...... We are on our way to Olvera Street. This was the first official Street in Los Angeles. I am wearing an official Mexican Dress that Miss Mexico let me wear. Behind me is Los Angeles City Hall.

We finally arrived at the entrance to Olvera Street.......

226 years ago..... I don't think plastic was invented yet ?

We stayed and had lunch and a Margarita We couldn't help it, we smelled Mexican food all over the place. It was hard to focus on shopping..

I wanted to dance, but I could not find Blaine or Ken around any where. They were probably watching football some where.

I must of had one to many Margarita's my hostess Cecilia said we toured quite a bit and now it was time to go to see the beautiful California coast. We are at the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Oh what a view..

The sun feels so warm behind me. Look at my hair, I am having one of those days. It's a little bit windy for me. But, I promised to pose for pictures.

Hurry Cecilia my arms are starting to raise, I feel that I am going to go parasailing without a sail......

Well my fellow Doll Divas, we are calling it a day for today. We need to go back home and pack for Pittsburgh, PA. I will have more pictures for you later this week.
