DeeDee visits Debi in Maine

DeeDee Arrives!

"Hi everyone! I know it's been a long time since I wrote, but I have
finally arrived in Maine to visit with Debi and her family! Upon arrival
I was greeted by Sophie (Debi's travel doll). She was getting
ready for the Barbie convention and wanted some pointers on
packing. It's her first trip so I gave her some basic tips."

"Here
we are with our luggage. Hers is a bit bigger than mine
and she is only staying for a week! Guess you must bring
lots to conventions." |
"Later
as I was unpacking and getting settled in, Chris (Debi's husband)
spotted my rubber duckie. He just had to share his rubber
duckie collection with me." |
"This
morning Sophie and I enjoyed tea on the sun porch, and we talked
about possibly going to see the ocean later this week. Tonight Debi is going to take me to work with her and treat me to
a lobster dinner!" |

"Debi
has been busy babysitting her nephew, Dawson. Here I am helping
out." |
|
|
DeeDee has a Lobster Dinner
|
|
"I am having such a
great time so far here in Maine, and I am still full from dinner. I got
to sit on the deck at the Muddy Rudder restaurant and eat fresh Maine
lobster and clams. Yummy. Here are some pics.

"Here is my
dinner, the traditional downeast clambake with lobster, clams,
baked potato, corn on the cob and clam chowder. I couldn't
even come close to finishing it all!" |

| "Today was hot here in
Maine. First, I got a new outfit because my jeans were getting a
bit hot..." |

"Sophie and I put on some sun dresses and skirts and went
out. We helped Debi do some gift bag shopping for
the upcoming Barbie convention." |
|
|
 |

 |
|
|
|
|
"Then we got
lunch and went to the park." |
"There
was a fountain there, and I was really wishing I had brought my
swim suit!" |
"Lastly we got
a picture taken with the huge Paul Bunyan Statue that is in
front of the local auditorium. It was a fun day!" |

Dee Dee says Good Bye!
|
|
"Well I had a great
time here at Debi's and Sophie's house. I went to Bar Harbor
yesterday and did some shopping and then came back to home to watch the
fireworks. Unfortunately the pictures of us at the fireworks
didn't come out, but I have some others to share with you!"

"Today
we went to Stephen King's house, but he wasn't home. So we
took a picture outside."

"We
found this cool Barbie tin chest in Bar Harbor yesterday.
Debi just had to have it!" |

"Here
I am saying good bye to all the girls...oops..and guys!"

"Here

"My
other new good friend Pixie gives me a squeeze good bye."

"And
lastly a hug for Sophie! I will miss you, but maybe we can
see each other at the Barbie Convention! Bye and see you
all soon!!
